What is a Reverse Advent Calendar?

24th October 2016

It’s where you ‘give’ an item a day from 1st November so on the 1st December, you have 25 items that can be donated to Cromer & District Foodbank by 1st December.

This is so we have time to get it to the families that need it BEFORE Christmas starts!

Would you like to be involved?  If so please email [email protected] and ask for a copy of our Reverse Advent hand out which will give you all the info you need including the list of food items we are asking for.

Christmas can be a difficult time for individuals and families who are already managing on extremely tight budgets. The increased winter fuel bills, and the pressure of choosing between heating and eating, will sadly push many families into food crisis.

Donations made to our Foodbank are used to provide three days of nutritionally-balanced, emergency food to local people in crisis that have been referred by frontline professional agencies such as Citizens Advice or children’s centres. Help us support people facing hunger this winter by taking part with a reverse advent calendar!
